Two LT student researchers, one LT faculty member, and four LTML district partners presented at the 2015 Society for Information Technology and Teacher Education (SITE) Conference this past week in Las Vegas, Nevada. SITE is an international conference organized by the Association for the Advancement of Computing in Education (AACE).
LT PhD student Lana Peterson presented “Technology Coaches: The Heart of Technology Integration."
LT PhD candidate Sarah North presented the paper, “Investigating STEM Teacher Motivation in an Online Community of Practice,” which was written with her departmental STEM colleague, Joshua Ellis.
Cassie Scharber, LTML Associate Director and Assistant Professor, presented a roundtable discussion entitled, “Nurturing Innovation Within a 1:1 Middle School” in tandem with Lana Peterson (LT) and LTML district partners from Austin Public Schools, John Alberts, Jason Senne, Derik Gustafson, and Jennifer Gosha.
