Students from the Learning Technologies program in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction at the University of Minnesota presented at the American Education Research Association’s 100th annual conference last week in Washington, D.C.
Yu Hui Chang and Tiffany Nielsen-Winkelman presented a poster session: Investigation of Preservice Teachers’ Instructional Design and the Role of Technology Integration. Chang also presented another poster session with her former colleagues from Taiwan, Tzu-Wei Huang and Huang-Yao Hong: Exploring the Relationship Between Young Pupils’ Collaborative Knowledge Building and Their Reading Comprehension.
Lana Peterson presented a roundtable entitled, Student Tech Teams to the Rescue. Lana was also officially appointed as the Graduate Student Representative to the Computers and Internet Application in Education special interest group for 2016-2018.
