The Learning Technologies (LT) minor is now in its third year at the University of Minnesota drawing students from across different disciplines who want to become more digitally savvy leaders within their fields. Society and workplaces are becoming more technological and need innovators who can use technology to create and solve problems- the shift to remote learning in 2020 and 2021 intensified this need. LT minor students create a personalized program that builds expertise in using digital media and online technologies to promote learning and creativity in your career field. This minor can be added to any major at the University of Minnesota.

To hear from past LT Minor student check out Haven Jacoby’s (a journalism major) and Jonathan Wang’s (a global studies major) reflections on their experiences within the LT Minor program.
