Doering recently attend the National Conference on Geography Education (NCGE) in Washington, DC, where he received an award for a recent Journal of Geography paper, and presented on this paper plus two others. The award-winning journal article is titled “Technology integration in K-12 geography education using TPACK as a conceptual model.” The manuscript was chosen as the Best Article for Program Development amongst those published in volume 113, published in 2014. Recipients were recognized at a special ceremony during the conference. Doering’s other paper presentations focused on studies of his Earthducation and WeExplore projects.
