LTML director Doering explored all things Arctic with sixth and seventh grade students this week. He shared stories, photos, and videos from his recent Arctic expedition for his Changing Earth project along with more than a decade of adventures around the globe, while showcasing gear used to cross the Arctic by foot. The students had a blast trying on and testing out gear, while barraging Doering with questions ranging from How much did your sled weigh? to What did you eat while camping? and What did you learn from the communities you’ve visited? Many thanks to teacher Mark Westpfahl for the invite to be part of #MNstudies Guest Week!
