Journeying Off the Beaten Path: On way-finding, risk-taking, and change-making
We are sometimes offered opportunities – as individuals, colleagues, parents, educators – to undertake risk-filled journeys that lead to unknown or unfamiliar destinations. Join Dr. Jeni Henrickson, Creative Director at the LT Media Lab at the University of Minnesota, as she shares tales of adventure from points far off the beaten path, and how geography and the great outdoors offer kids (and adults too) a fantastic springboard into lifelong learning.
GEOFEST is sponsored by the Minnesota Alliance for Geographic Education (MAGE).
