DAILY AUDIO UPDATE

Aaron Doering
Today was a travel day. We said goodbye to San Pedro de Atacama and headed to the Calama airport to catch a flight to Santiago. Our flight was delayed by several hours but we’ve now arrived in Santiago, where we’ll have a quick overnight before continuing on to Patagonia to Torres del Paines National Park tomorrow. Patagonia is part of UNESCO’s Biosphere Reserve system, and holds some of the planet’s largest reserves of fresh water, not to mention unspoiled wilderness area.
Our thoughts tonight are with friends, family, and all living in the path of Sandy. May you all stay safe and see the least damage possible from the storm.
