We are visiting Trafalgar Station, an 80,000 acre ranch about 60km southwest of Charters Towers in Queensland. The owners, Roger and Jenny Landsberg, are employing some innovative farming practices related to sustainability and were awarded a 2009 Queensland Landcare Primary Producer of the Year award for their work here. What a different landscape this is from Sydney, Galiwin’ku, and Cairns! Roger and Jenny gave us a tour of their property today and have been treating our team royally during our stay here.
