From Tromsø, the team traveled south across the island of Senja (the second largest island in Norway), and boarded a ferry for Andenes, the northernmost town in the Vesteralen archipelago. They interviewed crew and passengers aboard a whale-watching vessel, and then headed to Digermulen and Svolvaer in the Lofotens. Their travels have included a visit to a small, remote school; a homestay with a family in Digermulen; and interviews with a wide range of folks, from teachers and students to grassroots organizers, marine biologists, and ship captains.
