Earthducation 1: Burkina Faso is comprised of eight energetic and passionate team members. All members are from the University of Minnesota and work at the Learning Technologies Media Lab.
Brad, Romaric, and Jeni are also PhD students in the Learning Technologies program, which is part of the College of Education and Human Development at the University of Minnesota.
Each member has a unique role in this expedition, and together we have been working tirelessly to bring you Earthducation 1: Burkina Faso. Please join the team and explore the connections between education and sustainability by visiting and contributing to the global narrative at lt.umn.edu/earthducation/environetwork!
Our sponsors are the silent team members on this expedition. Join us in thanking them for their support of Earthducation!
A shout out to Earthducation’s primary sponsor, the Institute of the Environment (IonE) at the University of Minnesota. Earthducation is an IonE Discovery Grant recipient. Without IonE’s financial support, this project would not be possible.

Go Team Burkina Faso!

Hi. I’m a teacher getting my license in ESL through the U of M, soon to graduate. I have become very interested in the adventure learning paradigm, including creating adventure learning content based on the model pioneered by Earthducation and GoNorth. I would very much like to see how this is actually implemented in the classroom. If it all possible, please contact me with any means by which I could get in contact with teachers implementing adventure learning curriculum. I am willing to do something in exchange, for example promoting Earthducation in some capacity.
I am also interested in doing an internship or even volunteer work with Earthducation in order to “learn the ropes” as it were, if any such opportunity is available.
Thank you very much.
Hi Brandon,
Thanks for the comments. Please feel free to send me an email at adoering@umn.edu and we can catch up on the many opportunities with adventure learning.
