I love it!
Hi Aaron,
Anna and I were looking at the website tonight. Anna needed it for a teacher at school.
I am curious to hear what the villages are doing to sustain a safe water supply. It sounded like they are interested in utilizing trees for biogas but what thermal demands would they would have besides cooking? Are they looking at gasification technologies? What do their diets consist of besides chicken? Herb….be sure to share those chickens with someone that needs them, that was really a kind gesture – do you remember how to process them:)? So many questions.
Be safe and have fun – remember it is cold in MN!
Ella (6) says, “We are so excited to see you riding motorcycles. We just read today about your trip to Sabou. Were you excited? Did you have fun at the party? Were those live chickens? Did you cook them right after you got them or did you give them to someone? I hope that the rest of your trip is fun. I love learning with you. Love, Ella”.
Ha, if you go to my father’s hometown in rural China, we also use chicken/eggs as gifts.
Wonderful update, I thought I was watching Easy Rider at the start!
Five chickens. Amazing. I’ve laughed, I’ve cried. I’ve experienced all extremes of emotions while following your journey. I can only imagine how much this must have been magnified for all of you there. You’ve really captured the experience in the media you’ve shared.
