Sarah North, a PhD student in Learning Technologies, is the first author on a new publication in the Journal of Nursing Education.
The paper, entitled “Lessons learned in multisite, nursing education research while studying a technology learning innovation,” examines the process of conducting longitudinal, multisite research in higher education with the added challenge of implementing an innovative learning technology at the same time.
The work highlighted in the papers stems from North’s previous position at the University of New Mexico where she managed a large research project studying faculty experience and student engagement using an online virtual community in nursing education. Sarah’s work is a demonstration of the rich, interdisciplinary nature and scope of LT.
