Angel Pazurek and Suzan Koseoglu were invited to present a workshop on technology integration for authentic learning in health science education at Hennepin County Medical Center. This professional development session for faculty and staff in Emergency Medical Services Education focused on practical implications of an authentic pedagogy model for integrating technological tools as a means to enhance learning and engagement in blended and completely online environments. Hennepin County Medical Center offers a variety of classes for first responders and emergency medical professionals and is eager to take the lead in innovative programming that increases access to educational opportunities through distance learning.
