Angel Pazurek presented “Fostering Engagement in Online Learning Environments by Designing Experiences,” at EdMedia 2012 World Conference on Educational Media and Technology sponsored by the Association for the Advancement of Computing in Education in Denver, Colorado.  Her presentation, targeted at online facilitators and instructional designers, argued that more emphasis must be placed on designing for the learner experience and less on delivering content in order to engage learners within virtual spaces in authentic and meaningful ways.
